The new Invert button beside the sync label reverses the volume
envelope for rhythmic opening and gating. It works with audio
triggering, MIDI notes and Host-synced shaping. Depth controls
the closed level.
Use Invert in Low or Full mode with Mix, lookahead and direct
envelope editing. The inverted shape follows your edits, and
Invert is saved with your user presets and sessions.
Invert is off by default. Existing presets and sessions keep
their original behavior and remain compatible.
1.2.0
More control, fewer steps.
Lookahead
Catch the start of a transient with 0–20 ms of lookahead. The
default is 0 ms with no added latency, including when opening
existing projects. Drag the bottom-right readout vertically or
double-click it to type a value.
Increasing lookahead reports the added latency to your DAW and
keeps the processed signal, Mix and bypass aligned.
Direct envelope editing
Drag the left endpoint up or down for Depth, the curve up or down
for Slope, and the return point left or right for Length. The
corresponding knobs update as you drag. A temporary vertical guide
marks the return point.
User presets
Save all processing parameters using the floppy-disk icon, then
recall them from the User Presets dropdown across projects. Curve
selection stays with the curve buttons.
Modified presets show an asterisk. Replacing a saved preset asks
for confirmation, and the preset name and modified state survive
reopening a project.
An update to your existing Pulse Ducker installation. Saved
sessions and automation remain compatible.
